New Original Works by Thierry Noir

Thierry Noir is a French street artist recognised as being one of the first people to paint on the Berlin Wall. After moving to Berlin in 1982, Noir began transforming the oppressive structure with vibrant, large-scale murals, aiming to demystify and ridicule the Wall, turning it into a symbol of creative resistance.

Noir's signature style developed into bold, colourful characters with thick black outlines which explore themes of freedom, rebellion, and the human spirit, serving as a metaphor for the Wall itself and reflecting his experiences living in its shadow.
