This artwork is a celebration of the commission that Richard Woods created for Liverpool Biennal Festival in 2008. 
 
Richard Woods (b.1966) is a British artist, internationally acclaimed for his architectural and graphic designs that blend elements of Pop Art, craft, and architectural history. Woods’ work explores themes of decoration, consumer culture, and the relationship between art and everyday life, with his bold compositions characterised by cartoon-like woodgrain patterns, vibrant colours, and playful, exaggerated forms. Transforming familiar surfaces like floors, walls, and facades into visually striking installations, Woods reimagines domestic and public spaces with humour and wit.
