Nicolas Party (b.1980) is a Swiss contemporary artist known for his vibrant, surreal works that reimagine the traditional genres of portraiture, landscape, and still life. Originally trained as a graffiti artist, Party later studied fine art and developed a unique style of soft pastels, bold colours, and dreamlike forms. His figures and scenes often appear otherworldly, with smooth textures and simplified shapes that explore themes of art history, transformation, and the artificial.
