This is a unique artwork from the Great Expectations series. The print will be hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the label on the back. It will arrive ready to hang on the wall and does not require framing - the work will be fitted with a sub-frame on the reverse, from which it can be hung.
Each printed Great Expectations artwork will only exist once, providing a great opportunity to own a unique and individual piece by Damien Hirst.
At the centre of these artworks are grids of emoji-like pregnant women whose forms have been constructed from paint spots of various shapes, sizes and colours taken directly from artworks within The Currency series. The collection references some of the most iconic imagery from Hirst’s monumental career. While the structure and basic forms are repeated across the series, each piece is individualised and unique by colour or unique combination of attributes. Only 748 of the 10,000 in the series will be printed.
