Chris Levine (b.1960) is a British contemporary artist best known for his pioneering work with light, technology, and portraiture. Working across mediums including laser, holograms, and immersive installation, Levine creates meditative and sensory experiences that explore perception and presence. He gained international acclaim for his transcendent light portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, 'Lightness of Being’. Levine’s work often invites viewers into a contemplative state, positioning him at the forefront of experiential and light-based art.
