The Changeling is a portrayal of changeling folklore, in which a child is swapped by malevolent spirits, but reinterpreted by Perry for the digital age.
Perry describes the work as “quite disturbing”, reflecting on how digital culture and AI are shaping our identity. The print aims to challenge the audience to rethink what truly makes us human, as well as our identity and belonging.
